Get to Know Us
Welcome to our cherished homestead! Meet Beth and Jeff Farlow, a couple whose love story began with a serendipitous blind date, leading them to a lifetime of happiness. Together, they raised their two children, Hannah and Thomas, in the charming town of Apex, just outside Raleigh, NC. Growing up, Hannah and Thomas had the privilege of experiencing the joys of farm life, surrounded by horses and animals.

In 2012, the Farlow's made a significant decision and purchased a remarkable 50-acre farmland. To be precise, on the auspicious date of 12/12/2012, they acquired 47.47 acres, considering it a fortuitous sign for the journey ahead and the endless possibilities awaiting them. At that time, their dreams for the farm were abundant, yet little did they know how those dreams would eventually unfold.

For approximately four years, the farm stood tranquil and undiscovered, concealed within the dense beauty of an overgrown forest, as the Farlows gradually set their plans in motion for a move to Asheville. During this period, Beth and Jeff balanced their corporate day jobs and focused on designing and constructing their dream home, with the invaluable assistance of Beth's brother, Richard, an esteemed architect.
Following Hannah's graduation from Holly Springs High School in 2014, she ventured off to the University of Kentucky, while Thomas followed suit and completed his education in 2017, playing lacrosse at Lenoir Rhyne University.

Finally, on a magical Christmas Eve in 2017, Beth and Jeff joyfully moved into their long-awaited home on the farm. Since then, their love and dedication for this special place they call home have fueled an ongoing labor of love. As we fast forward to 2023, Hannah has become an integral part of the farm's daily operations, while Thomas pursues his Master's degree at Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. Beth and Jeff have retired from their previous endeavors, now dedicating their days to the transformative work on the farm and relishing in the tranquil haven they have tirelessly created, eager to share its serenity with all who visit.

We invite you to experience the warmth and passion that have gone into every detail on our homestead. We are honored to extend our heartfelt welcome to you and invite you to immerse yourself in the beauty of our farm and the love that abounds within it.
